Palo Alto City Council ... The council will vote on proposals for how to review the police department, including the formation of a panel of experts to review police procedures, the cost-sharing agreement between the San Fransicquito Creek Joint Power Authority and the Army Corps of Engineers for a long-term study of the creek , the establishment of a review committee to oversee funds from the city's storm-drain fee, and the Downtown North traffic calming project. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14 in the Council Chambers in City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

Palo Alto Unified School District ... The district's Board of Education will hear a report on school capacities and discuss its own policy on school size. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15 in the district's board room (25 Churchill Ave.)
