SUMMER PLANT SALE . . . A sale benefiting the Foothill College Environmental Horticulture Program is set for tomorrow and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Foothill College, 12345 Moody Road, Los Altos Hills. An eclectic selection of bamboo, trees, shrubs, vines, succulents, perennials, grasses and ground covers are available. The sale will be held in Parking Lot 4; bring $2 in quarters for parking.
AMAZING WILDFLOWERS . . . Haven't had your fill of gazing at wildflowers this year? There are still heaps at the Gerda Isenberg Demonstration Garden at the Yerba Buena California Native Plant Nursery in Woodside. DO IT WITH STYLE . . . Jan Proceviat, ASID, Proceviat Designs, and Chantal Couturier, from Place Bellecour, will give a workshop on "How to Create a Specific Interior Style" on Saturday, July 30, 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Harrell Square, 1954 Old Middlefield Way, Unit E, Mountain View. Proceviat will talk about how to design rooms around master furniture pieces, mixing antique and modern pieces. The workshop is free, but pre-registration is required.
