Ragtime
Menlo Park pianist Nan Bostick performs "Ragtime for Families" with special guest artists on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Menlo Park, 1100 Middle Ave., Menlo Park.

Micro-Orchestra
The Baroque Micro-Orchestra will perform Friday at 8 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church, 600 Homer Ave. in Palo Alto. The program will feature selections from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and Bach's "Musical Offering," as well as techni-color concertos by Telemann and Rameau.

Shakespeare Festival
The Mid-Peninsula Shakespeare Festival will take place Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., featuring Shakespeare's "Two Gentlemen of Verona." Moliere's "That Rascal Scapin" will be presented on Sunday at 8 p.m.

Wallace Stegner
"Wallace Stegner: Throwing a Long Shadow" will run through Sunday at the Los Altos History Museum. The retrospective covers the life and influence of Stegner, a Pulitzer Prize-winning author, teacher, environmentalist and Peninsula treasure.

Vanishing Worlds
"Vanishing Worlds: Art and Ritual in Amazonia" will be on display through Aug. 21 at Stanford's Cantor Arts Center
"Vanishing Worlds: Art and Ritual in Amazonia" will be on display through Aug. 21 at Stanford's Cantor Arts Center. Organized by the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the exhibition features 150 art objects from the ceremonies and daily life of indigenous peoples of the Amazon River basin.
Tours of the exhibition will take place on Thursdays at 12:15 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 2 p.m. The Center is located at Lomita Drive at Museum Way and is open Wednesday - Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Thursday until 8 p.m. Admission is free. Philippine Art
Stanford Art Spaces presents a "Philippine Art Exhibit" through June 23. The exhibition features works by 14 Philippine artists. Short Documentaries
Stanford University's Documentary Film and Video MA students will present a collection of eight short documentary films Saturday at 3 p.m. at Cubberley Auditorium. Located in the School of Education, the auditorium is at 485 Lasuen Mall on the Stanford campus.

Ann Arbor Film Festival
The 43rd Ann Arbor Film Festival will take place Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m. at Foothill College's Appreciation Hall, Room 1500, 12345 El Monte Road in Los Altos Hills.
