Mary C. Peck, a longtime resident of Atherton, died May 17. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, at 10 a.m. at The Church of the Nativity, 210 Oak Grove Ave., Menlo Park, CA 94025. George Thomas Sutherland, a longtime resident of Palo Alto, died May 1. A celebration of life will be held Friday, May 20, at 5 p.m. at the Palo Alto Veterans Hospital Chapel, Building 101, 3801 Miranda Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4261, Pittsfield, MA 01202.

Ethel Silver Young, a longtime resident of Palo Alto, died March 13. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 21, at 2 p.m. at Peninsula School, 920 Peninsula Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025. Memorial donations may be made in her name to UNESCO, Peninsula School or the ACLU.
