IT'S A BREEZE . . . Sunset's annual Celebration Weekend, May 21-22, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., will introduce The Breezehouse, a prefab home erected at Sunset headquarters, 80 Willow Road, Menlo Park. Designed by Michelle Kaufmann, who did last year's Glide House, the home is a two-bedroom, two-bath "eco-oriented" house that can be constructed for about $160/square foot. The weekend celebration includes interactive exhibits, demonstrations, test kitchen and garden tours, hands-on projects, wine and microbrew tasting. Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 seniors (60+), free for children 12 and under ($1 off with Safeway Club Card, or if you bike to Sunset, or if you park at Sun Microsystems, 1601 Willow Road, and take the free shuttle). FOR BEGINNERS. . . A class on "Plant Propagation 101" will be offered Sunday, May 22, 2-4 p.m., at Gamble Garden Center Carriage House, 1431 Waverley St., Palo Alto. Discussion will deal with gathering, storing and germinating seeds, rooting plant cuttings and dividing large plants. Fee is $25 for non-members, $20 for members. LOW DOWN ON VEGGIES . . . Buzz Bertolero, of KRON-TV's "Henry's Garden," will be the guest speaker for the Garden Club of Los Altos on Tuesday, May 24, 1:15 p.m. He will offer advice on selection and planting of tomatoes and other vegetables.
