Palo Alto City Council ... The council will discuss an analysis of a proposal to build the police headquarters on California Avenue and an application to place telecommunications equipment on Colorado Avenue. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, May 9 inside the City Council Chambers of City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.). The council will also hold a study session with the youth council at 6 p.m. in the council conference room.

Palo Alto Finance Committee ... The committee will discuss the 2005-07 budgets for the Community Services Department, Library Department and the Planning Department. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10 inside the City Council Chambers of City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.). The committee will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday May 11 to discuss the 2005-07 budgets for the Public Works Department and Capital Improvement Projects . The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 12 also inside the City Council Chambers.

Palo Alto Unified School District . . . The Board of Education will hear an enrollment report and approve a resolution for a classified employees week. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10 in the district's board room (25 Churchill Ave.).

Palo Alto Planning and Transportation Commission . . . The commission will review zoning ordinance updates regarding office, research and light manufacturing districts and subdistricts. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 11 inside the City Council Chambers of City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
