(April 29, 2005) San Francisco Decorator Showcase offers eclectic views

Intriguing textures, a hodgepodge of colors and some fabulous lighting fixtures highlight the 2005 San Francisco Decorator Showcase, which opens tomorrow in a Presidio Heights mansion.
A benefit for San Francisco University High School's financial aid program, the showcase includes rooms designed by close to 30 San Francisco-area designers. The house alone is a treat. Built in 1914, the house soars three stories plus a basement, and includes a wine cellar and large media room. It's on the market for $12,500,000.
What: San Francisco Decorator Showcase.
When: Saturday, April 30, through Monday, May 30; 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday; 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
Where: One Cherry St., San Francisco.
Tickets: $30 general admission, $25 for seniors; at the door, includes audio tour. Group tours available.
Parking: Free parking and shuttle (leaves every 20 minutes) at Presidio Main Post parking lot, between Lincoln, Sheridan, Graham and Montgomery streets.
