VOLUNTEERS NEEDED . . . Can you unpack? Lift? Arrange? Cashier? Volunteers are needed to work three- to four-hour shifts for Treasure Market 2005, Tuesday, April 26 through Sunday, May 1. Treasure Market is the once-every-two-year arts and antiques event, a fundraiser for the Cantor Arts Center at Stanford. Opening Night volunteers are eligible for reduced-rate tickets. SPRING LEARNING . . . Feel like picking up a new skill, rather than cleaning up for spring? SPRING FLING . . . Filoli will hold its annual Spring Fling, including floral displays, floral design demonstrations, musical entertainment, storytelling and art projects for children, and tours of the house and gardens, tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Admission is $15 for members, $20 for non-members, $5 for children 3 and over, and free for children under 3. EFFICIENT GARDENING . . Carol Cox, co-author of "The Sustainable Vegetable Garden" and garden manager at the Ecology Action Research Garden in Willits, will teach a couple of classes tomorrow. "Companion Planting," from 10:30 a.m. to noon, deals with enhancing productivity while discouraging harmful insects, and "Saving Your Own Seeds," from 2 to 3:30 p.m., will deal with the basic principles involved in producing, collecting and saving seeds.
