Correction

The recipient of the Housing and Urban Development grant used to move chronically homeless into the Palo Alto Hotel, as chronicled in the Weekly's Jan. 19 edition, was the Clara Mateo Alliance, which recently merged with InnVision. Catholic Charities is providing counseling and other supportive services through funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

Clarification

During the City Council's deliberation of reopening the Downtown Library on Saturday, as reported in the Jan. 21 Weekly, Councilwoman Hillary Freeman asked why the matter took so long to reach the council via an e-mail.
