Palo Alto City Council . . . The council will elect Palo Alto's new mayor and vice mayor . The meeting will be held on Monday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers inside City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

Palo Alto Planning and Transportation Commission . . . The commission will review the draft environmental impact report for the proposed Stanford/Palo Alto Mayfield deal. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers inside City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).

Palo Alto Architectural Review Board . . . The board will review plans for the Stanford/Palo Alto Community Playing Fields (Mayfield) , and preliminarily review a proposed dental/medical building at 777 Welch Road. The meeting will be held on Thursday, Jan. 13 at 8 a.m. in the City Council Chambers inside City Hall (250 Hamilton Ave.).
