FRESH-CUT GREENERY . . . Mmmm, the smells of the season. Want to decorate your home with freshly cut greenery? You can bring your favorite containers and purchase greenery at Gamble Garden's Holiday Greens & Boutique sale tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Some custom floral arrangements will also be available, as well as hot cider, cookies and holiday music. The sale takes place in the Carriage House and patio, 1431 Waverley St., Palo Alto. For information, call (650) 329-1356.
TEDDY BEAR TEAS . . . are filling up fast at Gamble Garden. Teas are set for Friday, Dec. 17, 11 a.m.; Saturday, Dec. 18, 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Guests are asked to bring their special bears for story time, tea, sandwiches, cookies and a surprise. Children 2 to 9 years must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $12 for adults, $10 for children. The teas are at the main house, 1431 Waverley St., Palo Alto. ONE WARM COAT . . . So, you hit the sales and found a perfect winter coat, just in time for that cold snap. But, what will you do with your old one? Coldwell Banker offices are collecting coats, blankets and towels for those in need, through Dec. 17. Donations will be delivered to the Emergency Housing Consortium LifeBuilders of San Jose and other local nonprofits and shelters. Local offices are located at: 245 Lytton Ave., Suite 100, and 2754 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto; 110 First St. and 161 S.
