Nierenberg-Harris

Jenni Lauren Nierenberg and Hugh Richard Harris were married Sept. 5 at the Garden Court Hotel in Palo Alto. The bride is the daughter of Michael and Karen Nierenberg of Palo Alto. A graduate of Gunn High School, UC Davis and University of Michigan Business School, she is a program manager for executive education at Stanford Graduate School of Business. The groom is the son of Joan Harris of Los Angeles and William Harris of Phoenix, Ariz. A graduate of UCLA and Hahnemann Medical College in Pennsylvania, he is a pulmonologist at Santa Teresa Medical Center. The couple honeymooned in Italy and will live in Cupertino.

Johnston-Dorsky

Amanda Johnston and Alexander Dorsky were married Sept. 4 at the Aldredge House in Dallas, Texas. The bride is the daughter of Dwain and Janet Johnston of Arlington, Texas. A graduate of Texas State University at San Marcos and Monterey Institute of International Studies, she is development director for Mosaic Family Services in Dallas. The groom is the son of Albert and Susan Dorsky of Palo Alto. A graduate of Gunn High School, the University of California-Los Angeles and Monterey Institute of International Studies, he is a translator for J.P. Morgan Securities Asia. The couple will live in Dallas.
