Your guide to the Moonlight Run
6:30 p.m.: Registration opens for both pre-registration and race night 7 p.m.: Celebration for the Weekly's 25th anniversary. Former mayor Gary Fazzino will emcee the cake cutting. 7:30 p.m.: 5K walk begins 8 p.m.: Pre race warm ups by Andre Bobo (fitness teacher/trainer) 8:15 p.m.: 10K run begins 8:45 p.m.: 5K run goes out
Stick around after the race for prize giveaways, refreshments and music by deejay Efren Ayala. Don't miss the climbing wall, voter registration table, volleyball and awards to the top three finishers in each category.
**Race results will be posted on the Internet at www.PaloAltoOnline.com 10 a.m. on Oct. 4.
**Palo Alto Police Department will be directing traffic the afternoon/night of Friday, Oct. 1. Carpool-only drop off at the old Scott's Seafood parking lot at 2300 East Bayshore Road.
