More than 1,000 people gathered for the first all-school dinner at Palo Alto High School last Thursday night. "Welcome to Paly" attracted about 40 alumni, some even from the class of 1930, as well as the school district's Board of Education and Superintendent Mary Frances Callan.

Guests were greeted by Paly student leaders, entertained by the band and cheerleaders, and served by staff.

As promised by Principal Scott Laurence at the start of the school year, the campus' new amphitheater was dedicated and guests were welcome to an open house at the new science building.
