WHO: Seven of the top 30 players in the world, featuring No. 5 Lindsay Davenport, No. 15 Venus Williams, No. 16 Patty Schnyder, No. 17 Francesca Schiavone, No. 18 Anna Smashova-Pistolesi, No. 25 Amy Frazier and No. 29 Meghann Shaughnessy. The field includes 24 singles players and 16 doubles teams
PRIZE MONEY: Total prize money for the event is $585,000.
TELEVISION: ESPN2 will televise the first semifinals on a tape-delayed basis on Saturday, July 17 beginning at 3 p.m., and carry the late semifinal live at 8 p.m. Sunday's 1 p.m. final will also be shown live.
SEATING: 4,353 per session Monday-Sunday (Stadium Court). Additional seating for outer court.
TICKETS: Individual tickets range from $10-$80 per session and are available through City Box Office at 415-392-4400, or through Tickets.com at 415-478-2277, 650-478-2277, 408-998-2277, or 510-762-2277. Box seat and weekend packages range from $195-$2,700, including individual session skyboxes available for $2,000 per session Monday through Thursday, and are available by calling 415-227-8099. Qualifying matches, held July 10-11, are free to the public.
