Grandparent Caregiver Resource Center 2625 Zanker Road, Suite 200, San Jose, CA 95134-2107; (408) 325-2107 www.ccsj.org/users/gcrc GCRC offers information and referral, support groups (mostly in San Jose), educational seminars, respite and recreation, and a caregiver "warmline." A previous support group met in Midtown Palo Alto, and if enough interest is found in the north county, the center is willing to start another.
San Mateo Kinship Support Services Program (Edgewood Center for Children and Families) 1796 Bay Road, East Palo Alto (650) 326-6439 www.edgewoodcenter.org Edgewood offers resources and respite, as well as support groups. One meets every other Friday night from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
