PLENTY TO DO . . . Summer at Filoli, tomorrow, 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., brings a variety of activities for the whole family: a children's petunia-planting workshop, floral design demonstrations, scrapbooking workshops and nature hikes, to name just a few. Admission is $15 for adults, $1 for children 2-12, free for children under 2. Picnic lunches, which must be ordered in advance, are available for $15 and $6. SOOTHING SOUNDS . . . Longing for peace and quiet in your garden? You can learn to "Build Your Own Small Water Feature" tomorrow from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Gamble Garden Carriage House, 1430 Waverley St., Palo Alto. Taught by landscape contractor Peter Henck, the class will offer insights in turning an urn, statue or small boulder into a water element. Fee is $25 for non-members, $20 for members.
