WINE NEWS. . .

STOA Restaurant and Wine Bar will host a winemaker's dinner on June 21 featuring Tablas Creek Winery. STOA Chef Jeremy Baumgartner and Jason Haas of Tablas Creek have collaborated to create a five-course menu. A reception will take place at 7 p.m. followed by dinner at 7:30 p.m.

The Santa Cruz Mountain Winegrowers Association will host its 17th annual Vintners' Festival, "A Taste of the Mountains." The festival offers participants a self-guided tour in which they may participate in barrel-tasting, meet winemakers and enjoy music, art and food.

Wineries and restaurants in Santa Cruz County will be featured June 12 and 13. Wineries will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; restaurants will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
