Nina Wells Cochran, a longtime member of the Palo Alto community, died May 22. A memorial service will be held in her honor Tuesday, June 1, at 1:30 p.m. at the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, 950 Santa Cruz Ave., Menlo Park. Donations in her memory may be made to the Menlo Park Presbyterian Church; Peninsula volunteers; or a charity of choice.
Sally Ann Davenport, a longtime resident of Menlo Park, died May 25. A vigil will be held in her honor Friday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. at Roller, Hapgood & Tinney, 980 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto. A funeral mass will be held Saturday, May 30, at the Church of the Nativity, 210 Oak Grove Ave., Menlo Park. Donations in her memory may be made to The Sequoia Center, 650 Main St., Redwood City, CA 94063; or the Palo Alto Medical Foundation, Dept. of Ovarian Oncology, 795 El Camino Real, Palo Alto, CA 94301.
Barbara Heide Loftus, a longtime resident of Palo Alto, died May 23. A funeral mass will be held Friday, May 28, at 11 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Church, 1095 Channing Ave., Palo Alto. Donations in her memory may be made to Sisters of St. Ursula, Linwood, 139 South Mill Road, Rhinebeck, NY 12572; or Notre Dame School of Manhattan, 104 St. Mark's Place, New York, NY 10009.
Malcolm (Mac) McGilvray, Jr., a lifelong resident of Palo Alto, died March 25. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, June 6, at 1 p.m. at the Palo Alto Red Cross, 400 Mitchell Lane, Palo Alto.
