ZAGAT SURVEY. . .

Zagat Survey, is conducting its annual online survey of the San Francisco/Bay Area restaurant scene and is asking diners to vote at www.zagat.com Surveyors are asked to rate and review restaurants based on their food, decor, service and estimated meal cost.

Those who cast their votes by April 25 will receive a free copy of the Zagat 2005 San Francisco/Bay Area Restaurants guide when it is published in October. This will mark Zagat Survey's 19th San Francisco restaurant survey and the company's 25th anniversary. This year's survey lists over 900 Bay Area eateries, from upscale dining rooms to neighborhood bistros -- with plenty of room for write-ins.

MIKE"S CAF... ETC. . .

Look for Mike's Café Etc to open on Monday at 150 Middlefield Road in Menlo Park, in the space formerly occupied by Late For the Train.. Owner Mike Wallau will continue to operate his eatery in Midtown.
