KENNY LOGGINS. . . Kenny Loggins will headline the Summer Symphony concert on Sunday, July 18 at Stanford's Frost Amphitheatre. The soft-rock singer/songwriter's career spans more than 30 years, and includes 12 platinum and 14 gold albums.

This year's concert will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Children's Health Council and will also feature an opening performance by the California Youth Symphony. Tickets are $75 for chair seating ($20 tax-deductible), $50 for lawn seating, $25 for children ages (up to age 11). Tickets will go on sale June 1.

BELA FLECK AND EDGAR MEYER. . . Stanford Lively Arts will present a special Memorial Day performance featuring banjo player Bela Fleck and bassist Edgar Meyer. The concert will take place on May 31 at 2:30 p.m. at Stanford's Memorial Auditorium.

Fleck and Meyer are both multiple Grammy winners and longtime friends who last played together at Stanford in 2001. They are known for their brilliant renditions of classical music, bluegrass and jazz.

Tickets are $48/$40/$30 and are currently on sale. Half-price tickets are available for young people age 15 and under, and discounts are available for students.
