APARTMENT SHOPPING? . . . If you're looking for an apartment, there's good news on most fronts. In Palo Alto, expect to pay $2,086 for a two-bedroom, two-bath unit, up 1.2 percent over last year; in Menlo Park that apartment would go for $2,141, down 19.3 percent, and in East Palo Alto, for $2,096, down 7.3 percent. Occupancy is up in all three cities, with Palo Alto at 95.6 percent, Menlo Park at 97.6 percent and East Palo Alto at 94.2 percent.
