Kathy Sharpe's
paintings in oil and watercolor will be on display through Jan. 31 at Gallery 9, 143 Main St., Los Altos. The exhibition will feature new paintings by the artist. "3 Photographers" will run through Jan. 22 at Stanford Art Spaces, located on campus at the Paul Allen Center for Integrated Systems. The exhibition will feature Sandra Chandler's "Venice Carnevale," Jeffrey Davis' "Path of Discovery" and Marie-Jo Mont-Reynaud's "People of Haiti." Admission is free. "Born Yesterday,"
Garson Kanin's classic comedy, will preview tonight at 8 p.m. at the Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto. Presented by the Palo Alto Players, the production will open on Saturday at 8 p.m. and will run through Feb. 1. Regular show times are 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18 and Feb. 1. Ticket prices are $17 for tonight's preview performance; $21 for Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday performances; $25 for Friday and Saturday evenings; $27 for Saturday's opening-night performance, with a gala to follow. Kepa Juntera will perform tonight at 8 p.m. at Stanford's Dinkelspiel Auditorium. Presented by Stanford Lively Arts, the concert will feature Basque traditions blended with international sounds, including Celtic reels and gypsy rhythms. Tickets are $36/$32. The Pacific Art League's January show, "Digital Domain,' will feature two-dimensional and three-dimensional works in any media related to all things wired, including technology, electronics, communication, hardware, software, numbers, and anything you can imagine in these digital times. Chinese Performing Artists of America
