Russian Ridge
Features grasslands, ridges and hillsides, Ridge Trail, hawks and
other raptors, spring wildflowers and oaks. Hike, bike and ride horses
on the 8 miles of trails of this 1,580-acre preserve. Enjoy the views
from Monterey Bay to the East Bay hills from the top of the 2,500-foot
Borel Hill. Restroom. No dogs allowed. Open sunrise until a half
hour before sunset. Limited parking at vista point on Skyline Blvd.
(Route 35) but parking is available in the 30-car lot at the Alpine
Road entrance.
