Ad Libs: Art league at work

Original post made by Rebecca Wallace, arts & entertainment editor of the Palo Alto Weekly, on Jun 14, 2013

Classes at the Palo Alto institution known as the Pacific Art League are being held 'round the corner at 227 Forest Ave. while the building undergoes major renovations. Exhibits are there, too. During this time, it's strange to peer into the venerable old Ramona Street building and see a wide open space instead of a gallery, folks painting and framed art. Space busy with construction workers and equipment, that is.

thanks for bringing a topic of art into discussion. Art is everywhere and in everyone. Art is the beauty how we ,us each one see the world. I found love in art art is so free and forthcoming acceptance of one just the way we are. Art is everywhere and I didn't know it until I started look at the world . I didn't have time riser the art bc I was always too busy running after money, belongings, houses ; I thought the more I had the more happy I would be.Wrong! Art world is so wonderful bc everyone is accepts you as you are; you will not be the weird kid in school or weird in any way, bc most people have no clue about the art talents within you and why u didn't fit in. I am so burning to go to burning man but don't have the ticket yet. I can get there and drive there and get tons of water and food so if anyone knows about the burning man and how I get ticket to get in I would like to know.I was a Palo Alto vehicle dweller so I can accommodate 1 person it would be sleeping in back of truck and you bring your own house, cover, shelter.i learned its pretty dusty and very hot in burning man, but im going anyways hoping to get in. Never been in burning man, and if an art project participation will let me attend , I would like to know about it. I have lots of time since im retired and can volunteer in supporting other artists. Life is about sharing and giving. Thank you again about the article and no one in Palo Alto cares about art~~ Palo Alto is only about who has what and how much.everyone is an artist what buring man told me: and come just the way you and you are loved.

wondering why no one is posting anything? Is ithe reason because of my profile name ?...or the way I wrote the comment to the author? Or the article itself? Any artist minded around here?
