Hey Mr. Kramer, I asked my four year old daughter about noise levels and she said noise on the sidewalk shouldn't be any louder than an ostrich feather tickling an ant. My point is the City Attorney is who interprets City ordinances not the Planning Department. What has the City Attorney told you about noise levels? Is it possible someone in the Planning Department was in error or misunderstood your question? Ask the city attorney your question and write us all back with your answer. I'll protest with you if the City Attorney agrees with you...

"His more than 10,000 votes are impressive; in the off-year 2007 election, neither incumbent received as many votes."
Why is this "impressive"? If less people vote, then you get less votes. Seems kind of obvious.

Can hardly believe, still, that Ken Dauber lost. With all his campaign signs everywhere, it looked like everyone supported him. But apparently some people do one thing publicly and another in the voting booth. How else did W get elected, when no one will admit to having voted for him.
It seemed there was a bit of a smear campaign going on the last two weeks, which probably changed a few minds. It's a shame, because I think the Scool Board is the less for it.
