Arresting Officers MUST conduct an arrest properly, if a trial is to result in conviction. Who do you want to blame?

It would have been instructive if the article had provided some detail as to why the State Attorney General's Office is now getting involved. Is the SMC DA conceeding that his office doesn't have the same qualiity of criminal prosecutors that the State AG's Office does?

This will be an interesting case to follow--now that it has become tangled in possible prosecutorial and police misconduct.
