Why did she not get the Nobel Peace Prize?

Malala Yousafzai, this very brave girl, who shames the rest of us, is now clinging to life. She is an example of the war on women.
The Nobel Committee seems to reject such bravery, and pivots to the EU, which is crumbling in front of us.
I am waiting to hear American women come to the defense of this very brave girl in Pakistan. Or do they just ignore the Ann Franks in front of them?
This is a very naked moral issue for Americans, especially our women. Will they come to the defense of this brave girl?

Gary, it is so refreshing to see a rightwinger praising us women. Thanks so much!
Of course, it helps if she has been shot in the head, as in this case. If she is alive and speaking up for women's rights, we're not so sure about praising that, right?

Probably because her story is recent and ongoing. The submissions to the Nobel committee probably need to be made months ahead of time. She is brave, she is fighting for her life, and she is becoming more and more well known in a very short space of time.
