We are in the process of upgrading our online movie pages. The new system will allow users to view movie times by both film and theater, so you will be able to search just the Century 16 or Aquarius, for example. This should make it easier for people interested in seeing what's playing at a particular theater.

I hope it doesn't go totally by theater, I usually want to see a particular movie and don't really mind which theater I go to so it makes sense to me to have it the way it is as well as listings by theater.

Yeah, but it is so much easier to scan a page for a movie than to scan for a list of what is playing at a given theater.

For instance the Stanford theater is within my walking distance. I do not know what is going to be playing so I have to scan the whole page to find the Stanford often in different spots because the movies are different names and will move around alphabetically.

On the other hand, most movies you can tell what theaters they are going to be at so a quick scan of the theater that has the type of movie you are looking for will likely give you results - and the theater scans alphabetically all the time, so it does not move all over on the page.
