I am really pleased to hear this. We all need regular reminders and this is a positive start.

I'm glad to see this enforcement. Everyday as I bike to and from work I see dozens of students running stop signs, biking the wrong direction and not wearing their helmets. They seem to have no concept that stop signs are meant for them too. One student recently told my middle schooler that stop signs are "only for cars".
The worst intersection on my route is on Los Robles at La Donna. Even when cars are lined up and have the right of way, kid after kid shoots through that intersection without stopping. The same thing happens on Meadow at Wilke Way and at El Camino Way. Most drivers are careful and patient at these intersections. I'm worried that someday one of them won't be so careful.

Are crossing guards supposed to stop cyclists too? As I walked to Palo Verde today, I say a family of cyclists turning across Loma Verde onto Louis at the intersection. As the father approached, he shouted to the crossing guard to stop the traffic for his family so that he could ride across the middle of the intersection without stopping. There were many pedestrians crossing in all directions to get to both Palo Verde and Ohlone. I was under the impression that bikes should also stop to let the pedestrians cross, not the other way round.
