Article does not tell us where this new facility is (e.g. on the campus of the current VA Hospital near Gunn?).
It does not tell us when in the afternoon this ribbon cutting with A Eshoo will happen. Just a bit more detail would help.
I'm glad to see the VA open the new health facility.
Unfortunately, the therapeutic pool facility over there has been closed for years - they were supposed to open the new pool in April of this year, but I have heard there are delays - apparently they didn't use corrode-proof metal for the hand-holds so they were already starting to rust before the pool was ever opened and I don't know what other problems are preventing the opening, but that is a big disappointment and blunder that this facility is still not open and available to the veterans and waste of tax dollars not getting it right the first time.
" ... more than 1.8 million veterans living in Palo Alto ..."???
Our error, Incredulous. There are 1.8 million veterans living in California.
Must be tough, Jocelyn, having to actually gt the facts straight. You guys are on a roll-- this story, the Edgewood plaza story etc.
Maybe you need to focus more on accurate reporting of the news and less on raking in the dollars and being buddy- buddy with the council. You do want to move on to a real newspaper when you grow up
