No pressure, guys.
This means more traffic and more spillover parking in Professorville, possibly in Old PA, too. Working at Stanford on weekends, when there are football games, is just miserable because it can take a long time to get to my destination, and then an hour or more to get off campus!
"This means more traffic and more spillover parking in Professorville, possibly in Old PA, too."
Not sure how many people actually park in Professorville and Old PA and walk to the stadium. But those are public streets so....
It also means more tax revenue for the city--more people staying in PA, eating in PA and shopping in PA. But I guess if it disturbs some of the residents....
"Then an hour or more to get off campus!"
Well, if you time your departure wrong or use the wrong route it may take you a while to get on and off campus. I would have thought that some one who works at stanford would know that and be able to time their arrivals and departures better. But on weekends very few people work on campus, so there is that trade off. And football games are only 6 saturdays a year, but I understand how sensitive some PA residents are to change etc.
