Quite a horrible story either way.
It sounds extremely implausible that someone could take
4 shots to kill them self, but how could you tell for sure?
I'd think if it was done by the husband he would have done
it in the heat of passion and all the shots would have been
very close together, meaning perhaps less bleeding that
if someone was trying to shoot them self. Could that be
qualified and measured or is there some other way?
What a sad horrible story, very sorry to hear of such unhappiness

I think it was murder, an act of desperation. There is no way the victim's arm would have been long enough to shoot herself in that way and from that angle. It would hav erequired an automatic weapon to shoot herself four times in rapid succession that way. Totally implausible.
The defendant is an Iranian Muslim, and though that cannot be legally taken into consideration, it can by the general public. Murder of one's troublesome wife is not taken too seriously by Muslims, particularly the Shi'ites, who make up most of Iran. Perhaps this attitude is what made the defendant think he could get away with calling it a suicide

Super tragic! however, He was NOT a Muslim! He was an Iranuan Zorostrian! Get it straight. And that is a VERY BROAD STROKE BRUSH you are painting Iranian Muslims with , regarding murdering wives
