The Magical Bridge Playground - Palo Alto Mitchell Park

Original post made by Jill Asher, Crescent Park, on Oct 7, 2012

I want to forward this information on to the Palo Alto community and make sure you are aware about a "NEW" playground slated to built at Mitchell Park - Join us in building the nation's first, fully inclusive public playground designed specifically for the disabled. Right here in Palo Alto, the heart of Silicon Valley.

This is such a wonderful idea! Why is no one interested? Do only people who have disabled or autistic children care about this? Anyone can have children in this category...the statistics show that no one is really safe from disability or finding that your seemingly normal child suddenly "becomes" autistic.

I'm interested!! Yes, let's do what we can to support this hard-working group as they do something which typically a city does. I've "liked" them on Facebook and will donate too. Thank you Friends of Magical Bridge Park!

Magical Bridges is a wonderful plan that fills a great need in our community and brings joy and dignity to people in otherwise challenging circumstances. Awesome purpose, welcome idea that fits right in with Silicon Valley thought leadership and execution.
