As an example, my kids enjoy the Back to the Future Movies and call them "Oldies". I would consider Old means made in the 60s, or older.

Good question, "Movies from Palo Verde Neighborhood."
By old, I agree with your definition: I am focused on classic Hollywood films (the Golden Age) circa 1930-1960. My personal favorites are from the 1940's.

I was just at the Stanford theater last Sunday to see "Anna Karenina" and "We Live Again". Wow is all I can say. Very interesting movie. I love the movies at the Stanford, and it's funny and ironic that there have been few mainstream movies that I have wanted to go see lately ... 3D or no. Most of the old movies are not mindnumbingly stupid or offensive. Great idea.
However, what more would you want in terms of a blog than IMDB movie discussions, or do you seek to create something like that that is local to the Stanford theater only? Curious?
