Here's one big idea for helping to solve these problems. Grow our city!
Increase retail establishments.
Work to keep sales-tax-producing activities here, including those that typically migrate from R&D facilities once R&D is completed.
Streamline the permitting process.
Build more small-footprint housing. Expand our population.
Aggressively work with neighboring municipalities to cooperate on service provision.
Aggressively work with Stanford on new business development opportunities; let's be more of a *lead* partner with Stanford, even as we cooperate on their new infrastructure proposals.
