An Impartial Interrogation of George W. Bush

It is well that McGovern never gained the presidency. It is well for his self image that he asked those questions in a forum where there would be no knowledgable answers, because the fatuity of most of them was easily demonstrated. While I honor his war service, I find his slap at Bush's service to be contemptible. I entered the military a bit younger than McGovern's entry and I did not have the comfort either of a warm bed every night or a fixed number of missions to end my combat time, but I would not demean his service the way he is free to demean that of Bush. I wonder - did they use oxygen all the time back then?
