ACS has been a fine, upstanding source of support for adolescents in crisis for many years. It's an organization that served one of my kids, and I have made quite a few checks out to ACS.
It's very sad they have to close Caravan House, but what I find appallinig is ACS's willingness to cast kids out on only 3 weeks' notice, and in the middle of the semester to boot.
Good business sense? -- Maybe.
Human sense? -- None whatever!
Such disregard for the well-being of girls whose lives are already in disarray is disheartening. I thought ACS cared about kids in distress.
