Al Gore in the Bay Area? How did he get here?

I see that Al Gore is in the bay area. Did he fly here? If he's concerned about global warming, should he really be flying around so much? In England, Prince Charles was recently criticized for flying to the States to accept an environmental award. There was a lot of discussion about the "carbon footprint" created when one flies. Should Al Gore stay put and preach his message from Tennessee or wherever he lives? Am I wrong in my assessment that airplanes contribute to global warming? I've heard a lot about global warming recently. Rather than waiting for the government to do something about it (which will never happen with GW in office) I know some individuals are starting to make changes on their own. Shouldn't reducing flying be one of them? How much are we willing to change our life style to reduce global warming? Just curious.
