Wow, it ain't much to look at and the seating can be a little crowded by several of the best meals I have had anyone on the planet I have had there. I unreservedly recomment Bistro Elan for their incredibly fresh and varied menu of masterworks. The chef's have rarely concocted anything I did not love.
I have taken out of towners to this place and several people who are familiar with the best food of many countries also give it high praise.
The meals are wonderful, expensive, but wonderful. The service is usually above average.
There are two even more wonderful things you need to know about as well. In the spring and summer the patio in the back is the perfect place to eat, and Bistro Elan also makes the best desserts I have ever had anywhere. Never too sweet or overly rich, they are flavorful fantasies of sweets that will knock your socks off.
Bistro is on the expensive side, I rarely get out of there with two people for under $100, but for a treat this place is world class unforgettable. I love it and I think anyone would too.
