Much of this information is not true.
"The Titans went 4-1-1 in their final six matches, keeping them in the De Anza Division next season and putting them in position for a possible at-large berth for the CCS playoffs next week." Not exactly. If Los Altos ties or beats Los Gatos on Wednesday, then Gunn would be relegated - and Gunn has no more games left - but could still make CCS, like the article says.
"A Paly loss, coupled with wins by Milpitas and Santa Clara, will drop the Vikings into a third-place tie with Santa Clara." Again, not true. Santa Clara is playing Milpitas on Wednesday; both cannot win - even if Paly loses, at worst Milpitas wins and pushes Palyinto third, while Santa Clara would remain in fourth with 16 points to Paly's 19 to Milpitas' 20. Paly has already clinched a spot in CCS - meaning the top 3 in league undisputed.
However, you have to commend Gunn for their fantastic finish to the season. It seems like Coach Rucculo really brough the team out of the doldrums. Good luck to both Paly and Gunn in CCS.
