W. Bush backs H. Clinton

Original post made by anon, Embarcadero Oaks/Leland, on Nov 20, 2007

If President Bush says Clinton, I say no. It only seems too ironic that he would applaud someone who voted his way for Iraq and Iran.

My hunch is that Republicans want H. Clinton as the Democratic nominee because they think she'll be easiest to beat in the general election... and for once, I think they are right.

The bottom line is that every single Democrat candidate wants socialism, has no coherent foreign policy, and despises our military.

No thanks.

I am not excited by any of the Republican candidates, but any of them are better than the Left side of the aisle.

BTW, I think that "dumb" Bush is outwitting the Left, (again). He knows that his approval is a "kiss of death" to Clinton for many of the far left..and so gives Obama a better chance of winning the Democrat nominmation...which means there would be no chance whatsoever of a Democrat in the White House because he is a very far left baby politician with no idea about how capitalism works, and no idea about intelligent foreign policy.

no thanks, that's a pretty big set of unwarranted assumptions, or should I say accusations, about the Democrats. It's also a set of untruths.

Peter, name one democrat candidate who doesn't want to expand govt.( stepping ever closer to socialism). Name one who has said nothing bad about our soldiers, not falsely accused them of atrocities, and worked to help them do their job, name one who has a sound plan for dealing with fascist-intent govts ( North Korea and Iran being two that come to mind). Specify what the plan is and why it is good.
