Stanford's 'Junior' robocar comes in second

Stanford University's robocar, "Junior," was first across the finish line Saturday but wound up in second place on technical points behind "Boss" from rival Carnegie Mellon University in a widely watched "urban challenge" sponsored by the Pentagon.

Facts not right. JR crossed finish line first but started much ealier than boss. Technical points were not a factor.

In my lifetime, and I am 75, we will see these systems incorporated into passenger autos.
