This would certainly be an improvement on the past performance of notifying people hours after a flood danger. But we know how well the city responded to the flooding situation, eight years later, and zero has been done about the bridge situation.

I just saw this thread as I have been away. We have an unlisted home phone # and we are NOT in this system. Does anyone know the person/office to contact in the city to get onto the system? Thanks.

If this is the system that called and warned me today, I think it is working fine. I would like to know how to get my cell phone to receive texts.
