Curbside Chaos in Crescent Park

Rest assured, Lynn, that it was a misunderstanding that led to that shredder being out there for so long. It wasn't even ours, and it didn't get the "Free" sign on it right away. Ahh well, good to know we have such alert neighbors, looking out for our common welfare. [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.]

Dear Curbside perpetrator,
It's too bad that your neighbors didn't just knock on your door and ask politely for you to move the unsightly mess of a paper shredder. Better yet, they could be neighborly and take it off your hands for you. Afterall, reduce, reuse, recycle is the mantra of this oh, so green, open-minded, tolerant, and idyllic community where everyone is supposed to walk on water... or perhaps you didn't get that memo.

Good for you.
Putting out what is of no use to you and maybe of use to someone else is what zero waste is all about.

Curbside Perpetrator, shredders can be very dangerous; little kids have been known to get their fingers caught in them. You ought to be thankful no one took the "free" shredder, got hurt, and sued you!!!!
