Beware of going without real estate agent
Original post made by homeowner Midtown on Sep 1, 2007
He locates properties and then he turns them over to the investors with the $$. A friend of mine was using a realtor and Jason came in as the buyer. This is what everyone needs to know. Jason then puts on the contract as Buyer - Jason Buzi and/or assignees. Now, if you are not real estate savy, this means that Jason can get out of the contract AT ANY TIME and then the next thing you know is some other "investor" is now the "buyer" and your property is at jeopardy of not closing. This is why they do not work with real estate agents. Say what you may about paying a real estate agent 5% commission but if it were NOT for the real estate agent in my friend's case, these [portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff] could have just kept the property in escrow forever.

FYI - Jason is trying to flip his properties on craigslist - check out the real estate for sale section there. He asks you to email him for his "not on the MLS" deals.
Midtown homeowner - how recent was your friends transaction with Jason? Can you share the details?
Does anyone actually know someone who bought or sold a house to this guy? Has he been putting flyers in all of PA or just Midtown?
