They say they want to start a conversation, yet every comment that agrees with the journalists' point of view in the story (the female point of view) remains while every comment suggesting the boys have a point of view, too, gets deleted. There are two sides to the story.

Rape culture doesn't need to be in scare quotes. It's a real thing, and we're drowning in it.

Why is no one talking about the culture whereby students are going to unsupervized parties and drinking so much alcohol that they pass out?
Isn't this part of the story?
Regardless of whether we are talking about girls or boys, the "culture" of drinking so much alcohol is wrong. Bad judgment calls by either group can be made with so much alcohol consumption. What students might do while they are sober is very different to what they might do when they have had even one drink, let alone enough to make them pass out.
Can we have a similar discussion about student consumption of alcohol which is also illegal.
