This Saturday - August 25 - from 10-4 pm at the Media Center we will be training high school students to crew for a live record, three camera shoot with our production truck as a prelude to hyperlocal coverage of high school sports using adult mentors and youth volunteers. I think the CCS Network is a step in the right direction to put more emphasis on local sports. It looks like this is the right time to launch MC SPORTS. We can cover the games and the sports that perhaps the CCS efforts might overlook. It's going to be an awesome first year. For more information on the Media Center (your community TV station) and its youth driven, youth led sportscasting program, contact chuck@midpenmedia.org.

This story would have read a lot better if the author had, early in the story, explained what sort of network he/she was talking about.

I agree John. It seems a little confusing.
