"8. "
Looks like, despite our financial problems, we are committing $300K+ for a study and millions afterwards for the bridge. Where will the money come from--not an issue for the council.
This is just another thing that the city cannot live without.

And they want DONATIONS to keep the water running into Foothill Park???? while spending millions on a bike bridge that isn't really necessary now. This is beyond ridiculous. And the city continues to hire 'big brass' with staff,no doubt. Yes, Keene is a big disappointment. This after Benest and another wishy-washy council. Will there ever be a stiff-spined City Council that will really take charge. Maybe we need finally an elected mayor who runs the city and is responsible to the electorate. YES, it is time.

We're spending $100 million dollars on new Hwy 101 onramps in Palo Alto. You read that right: $100,000,000 of your tax dollars (mostly county sales tax money). Now you are whining about a comparatively trivial amount of money for very useful pedestrian projects? If you want to whine, you're looking in the wrong place.

Trivial cost-you need to found out where the money is coming from for the 101 project and where the money will come from for this bridge. Also do the math on cost per user for 101 and the bike bridge. Then get back to us
