Palo Alto, M-A, SHP and Menlo School head to postseason

Original post made on Nov 15, 2011

A coin flip likely saved defending state champion Palo Alto from possibly making an early exit from the 2011 Central Coast Section football playoffs. SHP is "God's Gift to Football"--it's on our school-sponsored tshirts. We should not be ranked #4 if we're God's gift to the entire sport.

Which is why your ranked #4...

I think Menlo should be the ones with the gripe, being seeded 7 after a 26 point win over #4 SHP. It will be tough for either team to make it to the finals though. Carmel will probably make it to their 3rd consecutive title game, and face Palma.
